Directions:

Preparing Gravy

  1. In a bowl, combine one Shoyu soup base, water, and cornstarch. Mix well and set aside.

Boiling Noodles

  1. Take one serving of noodles from the package and gently loosen them.
  2. In a pot, bring water to a boil and cook the noodles for 1 minute. After cooking, strain the noodles and prepare your pan for pan-frying.

Pan-Frying Noodles

  1. Heat a separate pan over medium to medium-high heat. Add the oil and wait until it starts to lightly smoke.
  2. Place the noodles into the hot pan and gently shape and press them down, frying until one side is golden brown. Carefully flip the noodles to brown the other side, adding more oil if needed.
  3. Once both sides are golden brown, transfer the noodles to a cutting board and cut them into squares or leave them whole.

Cooking

  1. Prepare the Hawaiian Style May’s Teriyaki Beef Patty according to the package instructions and set aside once cooked.
  2. In the same pan, heat oil over medium heat, then add sliced mushrooms, onions, and black pepper. Cook until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Lower the heat and carefully stir in your prepared gravy mixture. Continue cooking until the sauce thickens to a gravy-like consistency, stirring occasionally. Once thickened, remove from heat and set aside.

Assemble

  1. Plate the noodles, add the beef patty, and drizzle the gravy over the top. Garnish with the egg and green onions. Serve hot and enjoy!
